The first part of the comic is really good dealing with Jessica's anxieties, showing just what it takes for her to get through the day. The interactions between Baz and Batman is good but the story with the scarecrow using the yellow ring power was weak along with Baz giving up his gun, Luckily the book ends strong with Polaris and interesting villain who tries to do the right thing by his brother but always ends up causing more harm then good. The ending where Jessica and Simon are forced to leave earth was amazing and cannot wait to read the next volume of this great comic book.

This volume is pretty action packed and the visuals are impressive.
