I like the diversity in the characters and creatures. And how all the main characters are girls. This book has a really good story line. That takes you from box to box.

The highlight of this addition to the series is the small glimpse into the lives of the girls and their families, prior to them getting to camp. But after that small part, this issue left me just a little disappointed. As a comic book series goes, it's still fun to read and I still love the girls and their spunk. But the story itself was just a little banal. Previously, we've had mysteries, or high adventure. This felt like an episode of a formulaic TV show--friends who aren't friends; let's get them back together again. And that was pretty much it. Noelle Stevenson, who's been such a great writer so far, collaborates and then is absent from most of this volume, and I think that's where the magic goes. Future volumes are not listing her as the main author, so I hope the new author can faithfully adapt to Stevenson's vision and energy for the series. Otherwise this will go from a fantastic series to a so-so story.

It's kinda confusing at first, because they go back in time, BUT ITS AWESOME!

I found the change in art style very distracting, especially since the first little bit (a flashback) is the original style. The story itself was ok though, and I appreciated the scientific scepticism.
