It starts off great with a hilarious speech by Doug (Seann William Scott), but that's the only laugh in the film. It goes overboard by trying to be drama and forgetting there should be comedy in the film. Some vulgar adlibs just aren't enough. There should have been a lot more jokes in the film. It's not bad, but it's definitely disappointing. Elisha Cuthbert is wasted in this film (well, both drunk and her talent is wasted). The sportscasters were mildly amusing, but it's more of a polite smile than a laugh.
