Hollywood got it right in this era. Straight-up entertainment, without the pretense.

Great Jaws like movie with fun characters, story but a bit dated effects when it came to a few spider shots.

Didn't work for my computer audio wise - dvd player worked fine.

I always thought this was a scary movie but then I watched it and I loved it. It's so fun! I enjoyed watching it.

Although this movie is not mindblowing on sound it is a good movie to watch on your HOMETHEATER. I really enjoyed this film and it's scary looking spiders. One of the best part for sound is at the beginning where the Doctor, photographer, a guide and helpers go deep into the jungle hoping to find a new and undiscovered insect. And they do. There are some decent sounds of the jungle. This movie is not very scary but i did like it and had a good time watching it. I was surprise to see John Goodman as the exterminator. My friend was a little scared by the main spider. I bought this film for $3.99 and have added it to my collection. I'll give this movie 4 stars. Good story, scary looking spider and her family, and a good time i had watching my friend get a little scared. Large bag of popcorn.
