I have no idea what this book is supposed to be about and it drives me nuts when an author changes the main character's name. I closed it relatively fast and when I looked at the description a few days later, I was surprised it was supposed to have taken place in 1930's Hollywood. Then it hit me, it was like reading a comic book or graphic novel.

The Girl who knew too much is NOT one of the authors best. Its lacks interest as the growing relationship between the main characters takes away from the plot. I gave it 2 stars....

Quickly read & easily digestible. Two criticisms: 1. The book was lacking all sense of time period. This was a shame, since it is such a wonderful, evocative era, especially in California and involving Hollywood. 2. The plot was over-full and the romance suffered for it. Overall not my favorite Quick novel but still enjoyable.

Great fast read--took around 4hrs. I really enjoyed this book, and thought that the older time period was refreshing for a change. Recommend.

An amazing new read from Amanda Quick! Set in the glamorous world of 1930's Hollywood, this is a departure from Quick's usual setting of the Victorian era. Within this new time-period we have the usual fabulous Quick repartee, an intrepid heroine, a gruff and taciturn hero, and a mystery to solve.

Loved this book. Great storytelling by the author. Real page turner. Kept me guessing until the end. Lots of twist and turns. Although it is not this authors usual time period she did a really good job in he usual Quick style!
