"Aurora Teagarden is basking in the news of her pregnancy when disaster strikes her small Georgia town: four kids vanish from the school soccer field in an afternoon. Aurora's 15-year-old brother Phillip is one of them. Also gone are two of his friends, and an 11-year-old girl who was just hoping to get a ride home from soccer practice. And then there's an even worse discovery--at the kids' last known destination, a dead body. While the local police and sheriff's department comb the county for the missing kids and interview everyone even remotely involved, Aurora and her new husband, true crime writer Robin Crusoe, begin their own investigation. Could the death and kidnappings have anything to do with a group of bullies at the middle school? Is Phillip's disappearance related to Aurora's father's gambling debts? Or is Phillip himself, new to town and an unknown quantity, responsible for taking the other children? But regardless of the reason, as the days go by, the most important questions remain. Are the kids still alive? Who could be concealing them? Where could they be? With Christmas approaching, Aurora is determined to find her brother...if he's still alive. After more than a decade, #1 New York Times bestseller Charlaine Harris finally returns to her fan-favorite Aurora Teagarden series with All the Little Liars, a fabulously fun new mystery"--

I'm on a binge re-reading all of the Aurora Teagarden books. This one was a brand new one for me and the style of it felt different (which I guess is not completely unexpected since there's been 13 years between this one and the previous book in the series). It felt dark and depressing. I love the humor of all of the previous stories and this one has none and it makes it harder to get through the story. I also agree with other reviewers, - the story itself is hard to believe. I still managed to finish the book in a day and a half and can't wait to read the latest book in the series.

When four kids vanish from the soccer field, including Aurora Teagarden's brother Phillip, Aurora and her husband, r Robin Crusoe start their own investigation.

Thin though this book was, it seemed to go on forever. Just not a good plot and Aurora did not seem like her feisty self. Maybe we should let Roe and Robin have their baby and live in peace.

Oh my I was so disappointed. The plot was thin, and worst of all made no sense to me. 4 children go missing, another is killed. Nine days go by before the FBI is called. Are you kidding me? Nine days! The situation does not read 'light cozy mystery' to me, and I found myself not liking Aurora very much in this one. I enjoyed the previous novels in the series, but I can't recommend this one.

I hadn't read an Aurora Teagarden mystery before, but had no trouble picking up the threads of this one. However, it seemed to me that Harris's writing was a little clunky at first, as if she were forcing herself to write this part of the novel just to get it done. It improved as it went on, however, and ultimately was a satisfying read. This is not an intellectual novel but she does bring up some good thinking points about dysfunctional family dynamics through the medium of her characters.

Not as compelling as previous volumes - I found the 'mystery' lackluster and the resolution unsatisfying. Not much plot, a lot of not-too-thinly veiled social commentary.

I was so excited to see a new installment in the Aurora Teagarden series. It was a good read but not as thrilling as previous books featuring Aurora. It was just so long before this new book. I do hope this series will continue.

Fun and fast paced rollicking mystery, the most recent in the Teagarden series. Not a deadly serious series, but fun and light in the best way. If you want something more serious from Harris, try the Harper Connolly series and you won't be disappointed.

It has been some time since Harris has added to the Aurora Teagarden series. It was not difficult to pick up from where she had left off with this series. However, the plot was one that I did not think was going to work out. For most of the story, it seemed too improbable. For that reason alone, I finished impressed with Harris' skill at being able to pull it together in a convincing way. Well done.

If you've enjoyed Aurora's adventures in the won't be disappointed. I wasn't sure for the first 20 pages or so....seemed slow somehow....and then it picked up and was up to Harris usual fun writing style.
