Another good story in the Yarn Retreat Mysteries. Even though I find these books like the stereotypical fare (ie: amateur sleuth falls for cop/investigator/head honcho, who is always a "hunk"), which are the kinds of mysteries I prefer to avoid, these characters are very well written and the varied relationships of friends, acquaintances, retreaters and the "natives" are interesting enough to keep me wanting the to read the next installment. I am glad that The Amazing Dr. Sammy finally was up front with his parents. Now maybe he will get further in his life and get to enjoy the "career" he has always wanted.
