Pleasantly surprised by the beautiful art and funny storyline. The cat ears on the cover of Vol. 1 gave me some pause (paws?), but there's more to it than just pretty catboys or tired old reverse harem cliches. Lots of interesting Japanese folklore included in a sweet fantastical tale. Very recommended!

Aya Shouoto's "Demon Prince of Momochi House" seems to be like many other supernatural shojo manga. You know: girl goes to school, girl meets something supernatural, girl gets swept up in the supernatural world and has to find her way. Shouoto manages to put her own spin on it, throwing our main character into her own version of the world of gods and demons. The main character is a sweetheart, though the primary love interest is somewhat- unusual. If you like a bit of mythology with your love story, this series is for you. Head's up: the series is still in progress. You'll have to keep an eye out for new volumes!
