Couldn't understand the accent. Gave up after 15 minutes.

Subtitles don't work, but closed captioning does. On top of the accents -- mostly Scottish and Northern -- the dialogue uses a combination of traditional UK slang (e.g. khazi), British Army slang, and current military jargon. They are also speaking Pashto in the opening scene to add further to the confusion. But, once the story gets going, it's a harrowing one, and well worth seeing.

This is a 2014 Afghanistan War docudrama directed by Paul Katis, based on the true story of Mark Wright and of a small unit of British soldiers positioned near the Kajaki dam, in Afghanistan.
A three-man patrol sets out to disable a Taliban roadblock.
In a dried out river bed at the foot of the ridge, one of the patrol detonates a land mine, blowing off his leg and setting into motion a desperate rescue mission.
Although the first half seems slow-paced, the last half appears extraordinarily, extremely and heart-stoppingly painful and heart-wrenching.
After viewing this movie, I'm pretty sure, nobody wants to go to war.

Couldn't understand what they were saying for 90% of the movie.

A very realistically told, true story of British soldiers in Afghanistan injured and trapped in a minefield and their rescue!
