A very good end to the trilogy (which doesn't mean that I liked all that happened).
It was great to catch up with our characters again and find out how they fare. However, this book is drawn out and could have been shorter. The beginning was a slow start. Maybe it was the audio format (although the narrator is wonderful and his pacing great).
Once the action started, things got exciting.
I liked Fanning's back-story. It was nice that this was included.
I'm torn about the epilogue as well. I like epilogues. They complete the circle and this one did a marvelous job of that. The last pages were perfect. But the epilogue itself was drawn out; oh, so drawn out.
Despite the drawn out stories and some minor quibbles, this is a good ending for the trilogy.
Well worth the read.
