Penguin Putnam
The fascinating autobiography of the legendary inventor behind the radio, wireless energy, robotics, and much more.

Famous for his pioneering contributions to the electronic age, his lifelong feud with Thomas Edison, and his erratic behavior, Nikola Tesla was one of the most brilliant and daring inventors and visionaries of his time. My Inventions is Tesla's autobiography, with meditations on his major discoveries and innovations, including the rotating magnetic field, the magnifying transmitter, and the Tesla coil. This volume also includes three articles by Tesla, as well as an enlightening introduction that discredits many of the myths surrounding the thinker's eccentric life. This rare window into the industrial age's most tragic genius will fascinate historians, scientists, aspiring inventors, and curious fans alike.

For more than seventy years, Penguin has been the leading publisher of classic literature in the English-speaking world. [Update: A connection between President Donald Trump and Nikola Tesla? Absurd you say? After the death of Tesla, the US gov't rushed in and confiscated all his personal papers, which they then handed over to a professor of engineering with MIT, named John G. Trump, uncle of the future president of the USA! Wonder if those still classified papers included his Death Ray??? Remember the Tunguska Event?]
With a wonderful foreward by Samantha Hunt, nothing beats reading the original thoughts of a genius. The great scientist/inventor who bestowed upon us the power grid, the wireless, remote control, and a mind-boggling number of generator and electrical improvements which will never know, as Tesla was among the original open-source types [some call them socialists, and for the best of reasons], and those electrical power stations we've so come to depend upon. And there most definitely should be a Nikola Tesla High School somewhere! [A great site which sums up the Real Tesla: ]
