Great guidebook on Alaska, whether you are a first time visitor or you've been coming back several times and always wanting to explore more.
The whole guide book is neatly organized, but it lacks more colorful pictures. It includes several sample itineraries for trips, hikes and road trips.
However, even though it is a 2015 edition, i find it that some of the information, especially about entrance fees is not current. Many tourist attractions raise entrance fees every year, so it is always good to double check websites for up to date info.
I personally like "Fodor's Alaska" more, because i'm a visual person and that guide book is more appealing to my eye. But both books are great. Enjoy your trip :)
