Rated 1/10. The acting and script made for a ridiculous version of the Battle of Hastings.

Here's a sample dialogue: "Why do I have to carry his stuff?"

Enough said.

Not recommended.

Very interesting depiction of the Battle of Hastings and the facts that lead to it. The movie is cleverly woven through the absolutely gorgeous Bayeux tapestry (www.bayeuxtapestry.org.uk/). The only silly thing in my view was the comment by one British that the Normans were invading England in the name of God. Nonsense. It seems that when King Edward (The Confessor) died without heir, the crown went to Harold instead of William, who had been promised to become king after his death. So, I think it is not unfair to lay the blame of the terrible faith that befell the English, somewhat, at Edward's feet.
