Touch is the electrifying new thriller from the author of The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August.

He tried to take my life. Instead, I took his.

It was a long time ago. I remember it was dark, and I didn't see my killer until it was too late. As I died, my hand touched his. That's when the first switch took place.

Suddenly, I was looking through the eyes of my killer, and I was watching myself die.

Now switching is easy. I can jump from body to body, have any life, be anyone.

Some people touch lives. Others take them. I do both.

Baker & Taylor
Dying after being viciously beaten by a vagrant in a dark alley, Kepler discovers he can jump into another person's body with just a touch and ultimately sets out on a mission of vengeance when one of his bodies is brutally assassinated.

Great story. Really loved the constant jumping from person to person. Didn't want to put the book down. The ending was fabulous.

This book is amazing and surprising and mind-bending (if you let it). I was having an MS exacerbation while reading it, so I had to put it aside for a week or so--my brain couldn't keep up with the twisting and turning of Keplor's lives. Thank you, Claire North, for not trying to go into a detailed explanation of why it happens. It was interesting to speculate about the possibilities and gratifying to see people depicted as diverse as they are, regardless of how many lives they've lived. There are some altruistic veins in some folks and absolutely none in others. I'm definitely going to read "The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August" now--can't wait!

Meh. This book could have benefitted from some judicious editing. Found myself skimming or just completely skipping over chapters only to realize I didn't miss anything integral to the story. While the author is a strong writer and the plot is intriguing, I had to force my way through it.
