Buttons, buttons, all around! In this colorful board book, the search for a lost button takes a little girl on an adventure. When the button is nowhere to be found, she and her father set out for a store filled with every imaginable kind of buttonfancy buttons, funny buttons, bowls brimming with button soup! She soon finds a suitable replacement, only to arrive home to discover the lost button on the stairs. But that’s not a problem at all. The found button is quickly stitched on to join all the other fanciful ones on her sweater. With very few words and brightly colored illustrations, this story will appeal to toddlers and pre-schoolers. The lilting text makes for a great read-aloud, while every page provides an opportunity to explore concepts, including numbers, colors, and simple prepositions.
