Rocks may seem like boring, static objects—until you discover that a rock can spark a fire, glow in the dark, and provide shelters of all shapes and sizes. Laura Purdie Salas's lyrical rhyming text and Violeta Dabija's glowing illustrations show how rocks decorate and strengthen the world around them.

A fun ways to discover all the things a rock could be! Then take a treasure hunt, see what kinds of things you can you can find made out of rocks.

Rock and stone can be many things.
Great way to start conversations and learn to be detailed in observations even in small ways. Shows the variety one material can make/be, and how it can be on our lives without consciously thinking of it.
