The worst one in the series. Although I did have a good laugh at the hamster discrimination scene.

As usual, an energetic and (somewhat) entertaining romp with Becky and her photographic memory for current fashion.
I'm sure fashion fans would really enjoy this series, but I'm just not the shopping type.
And, as usual, it ended a few paragraphs beyond where I was annoyed to death with Becky and didn't even care how it ended anymore.

As many other shopaholic fans, I eagerly anticipated for the next book in the series and breezed through this one. As the title suggests, in this novel Becky Brandon moves to LA with her husband and daughter because of the husband's job managing a Hollywood star Sage Seymor. Becky tries to make it big as a fashion stylist, hoping to style for many Hollywood celebrities such as Sage herself. She's determined to make it big on her own and will do whatever it takes, even if that means sneaking into a set and pretending to be a seamstress. Like the other shopaholic novels, this one was hilarious filled with mix ups and disguises. There are also a few appearances from characters we see from other books. What I found different about this book was that although the protagonist Becky, still shops; unlike the other books It wasn't filled with her addiction to shopping and her ever growing debt. In this novel, Becky is mainly focused on making a name for herself that her excessive shopping takes a back seat, and I think it was good that the author Sophia Kinsella decided to do this because the constant shopping story line can get repetitive. Overall, I think this a light hearted read for anyone looking for a laugh.

Rebecca Brandon and her shopaholic habits are back - this time in Hollywood, a shopper's paradise. Not only does Becky want to shop she wants to make it big as a stylist in Hollywood. Can she? will she make it big, or will she be in trouble? Actually Becky gets into the eye of a storm. She gets all the fame she can handle and more. Will she stay in the fame game or opt for her family life? There's only one way to find out and that's by reading the book.

about a selfish, self centered woman in Hollywood. Not a great read

Becky Bloomwood is back and up to her old tricks in Hollywood!
I love this series and this character. It started off a little slow, but picked up steam by the end. Thoroughly enjoyed!

This book goes on for 479 pages and has no ending. Its sole purpose seems to be a lead up / advertisement to the 2nd Shopaholic movie. Waste of my time.

I have always enjoyed the shopaholic series until this one. This one just falls flat and I returned it before finishing.

I truly enjoyed reading this book. Sophie Kinsella is a great author. My favorite character to read about was definitely Becky. She made me smile and even laugh in some scenes. I also enjoyed reading about the rehab center that she goes too and the fact that it could possibly be a cult. This part of the story surprised me. I was not expecting to read about a fictional cult in a chick lit novel.
