Despite all the comments praising the movie, I found it to be incredibly tedious and dull. The first sign of the monotony to come was the unending voiceover that started at the beginning and seemed to never end. I gave it an hour then cashed it in.

Outstanding film! Great script, superior cast and acting! Very insightful film!

While it has its witty moments, this is not what I would call a comedy, but more of a drama, a screaming match between friends as they cruelly expose each other to ridicule. Perhaps it appeals to the French sense of humor. Also detected a subtext about tensions in current French society but couldn't fully get that part.

Engaging subtitles and entertaining group dynamics.

I am not a fan of pranks designed to make others look foolish so the first half of this movie didn't amuse me. I was more taken by Claude's secret and Babou's truth-telling in the second half of the movie, although the prankster persisted almost to the end. the secrets and allegations were more amusing than the prank.

Marvelous! Incredibly funny as a French movie can be. And at the same time it shows that everyone has his own secrets.
If you like French cinematography you will love this movie.
Just don't watch the trailer - it's gives wrong idea about this movie....

Sarcasm and black humor at their best.
A fast paced movie, biting at times with incredibly witty retorts and quid pro quos. Makes you think twice about choosing the right first name for your kid! French actor Patrick Bruel is excellent.

Ce film est excellent, comique et dramatique à la fois. Le jeu des acteurs est exceptionnel et il n'y a jamais un moment de longueur. Je le recommande à tous.
