This book is such a educational one! It will be such a wonderful, colorful, and classical introduction to the Holocaust for younger children who are still learning. When we studied this topic in history class back in third grade, I found this one to read. It was inspiring. A must read for anyone who's intrested in the history of the Holocaust and Jewish people.

This was a good introduction For my kids to the Holocaust. We also borrowed the audio book to listen and read along. There are present day elements as well.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and it is very close to home because of George Brady who lives in Toronto now. This is good for kids to learn about values of being a human being and respect everyone else around us.

This book was really good and eye opening into what really happened and the story behind one suitcase. It is very sad in some parts though

An engaging book about how one girl's death during the Holocaust continues to have an impact on children all over the world even to this day.

Omg its like so sad made me so sad. I wish everyone would just get along and be friends so there wouldn't be wars.

This is one of the best books i've ever read!!!! It definitely captures the difficulties and all the struggles from the Holocaust... it's just a book you have to read. No words will help explain except for those in the book written by Karen Levine. I am so glad that i chose this book for a book report in school, inspiring, beautiful, meaningful and everything else! A short but amazing novel that I say everyone should read at least once in their lives. Something very important to learn about and raise awareness like Fumiko Ishioka did.
