The author of this book is a great story teller. The authors name is Judy Blume. I could picture every single word in my head it was so good! All the characters were so believable, but this story was one of the best story's I've read! It was my favourite. Go check out the rest of the Judy Blume's story's! I bet you will love them all!

Every fourth grader (especially those with younger siblings) should read this short and funny chapter book about Peter and his family who live in a New York skyscraper and his little brother Fudge who SPOILER - actually eats Peter's turtle in the climax of his obnoxious antics.
I really enjoyed the follow-up books in the series as well.

For ages 6-8. Two is a crowd when Peter and his little brother Fudge are in the same room. He drives Peter totally crazy with his embarrassing songs and antics. Fudge may be a human hurricane but, surprise, he’s also adorable.

A fun story and great read-aloud book! Each of the chapters reads like a short story for easy installments.

This story is about a fourth grader and his little brother. His little brother always messes things up. He even swallowed the turtle Peter got. Peter thinks that his parents like his little brother more than him, but he's wrong.

Peter has what every family seems to have, a very annoying little brother named fudge. Fudge who was given this nickname because he hated his birth name so much, was the kid brother that always bothered Peter but he took the cake when he ate Petter's pet turtle and had to be rushed to the hospital. He turned out to be ok and Peter got a new dog named turtle in loving memory of his turtle.
