Thomas Nelson
The newest book in the Extreme for Jesus line inspires young people to reach out to those in need with a radical and biblical compassion.

She escaped the fire--but not the effects of the burn.

Janeal has long felt trapped in her father's Gypsy culture. Then one night a powerful man named Salazar Sanso promises her the life she longs for--if she will help recover a vast sum of money tied to her father.

When the plan implodes, Sanso and his men attack the gypsy settlement and burn it to the ground. During the blaze, Janeal is faced with a staggering choice.

The impact of that moment changes her forever.

As her past rises from the ashes, Janeal faces a new life-or-death choice. And this time, escape is not an option.

Baker & Taylor
When her Gypsy camp was attacked by outsiders, Janeal had to decide between the life of her friend or a hidden fortune, and now years after the event her choice comes back to haunt her.

this book grabs you and never lets u go, seems we are all faced with choices often not realizing the results of those choices until much later when its too late to take it back and Ted Dekker makes it clear there can and often is redemption and forgivess if we ask, super book Ted!!

I could understand the concept the authors were trying to get across, the duality of good and bad that exists in everybody, but the execution in the plot, the characters, and the dialogue was terrible

As with all of his books, Ted Dekker makes you think. I enjoyed this book and found it hard to put down.

At first I didn't really get into the story. The premise and characters seemed a bit forced, but Ted Dekker is such a compelling writer that I finished the book in a few days.

what a crappy story. been reading this for 125 pages and i'm still waiting to be gripped by this story. Taking it back to the library tomorrow.Ted Dekker is one of my favorite authors but seems like teaming up with Erin Healey just doesnt work for him.
maybe he's helping her out as a fellow author.

I don't care what nay other person says, Ted Dekker to me is one of the world's best contemporary writers. He never ceases to amaze and 'Burn' simply proves that...
