A never-before-possible glimpse into the process of one of our most important poets. The book presents all the envelope writings — 52 — reproduced life-size in full color both front and back, with an accompanying transcription to aid in the reading, allowing us to enjoy this little-known but important body of Dickinson’s writing. A beautiful book!!! After searching for some books containing poems by Emily D., I found this one and immediately put it in my check out pile because it was so beautifully put together. One problem: as I tried reading it, it was a bit of a challenge because of the way that they didn't arrange the words so that it would be easy to read. Instead it is printed out as a picture of the exact way she wrote it.
