Rather decent miniseries, set in the years before A New Hope. An Imperial operative uncovers a scheme to unseat the Empire in favour of something worse. Ostrander moves the story along very well, and the art serves the plot well. His protagonist makes for an interesting alternative point of view, a man with a conscience still serving the Empire. Add in a couple of familiar smugglers to the mix, and a premise the reader will already be familiar with, and this is a good companion to the greater Star Wars universe. It no doubt helps that there's no Jar Jar Binks anywhere to be seen.
