This book(s) will confuse quite a few people. It looks like it may be a kids book, but I assure you this is not children's lit. A mix between graphic novel & a Griffin and Sabine format, it is a true story told with Edward Gorey-style darkness. This tale is fascinating.

Definitely NOT a book for children, it will lead many people to investigate the seemingly far-fetched account of the lives of the Evelyn sisters.

Murder, medical impossibility and the most odd coincidences make this one a page-turner. But I can see how many people will read it more than once to grasp the tale. It is simply too strange to be fiction! That's because it's about the truth.

If you like Edward Gorey, tales about freak shows or just the ability of the human spirit to conquer - check out this book.
