I COULD NOT put this book down!!! This book held my heart in a grip that did not let go till the last word. This book was the most emotional and heartwarming of the three. The flip of a page would bring new surprises and shocks that I could not forget. The last trip with Tessa, Jem and Will, will never be forgotten. I truly fell in love with these characters all over again. Cassandra Clare is a real magician!

I struggled to put this book down once I had it in my hands. This final edition to the Infernal Devices trilogy deals with love, loss, hatred, and war. These characters tug at your heartstrings throughout every new chapter of their lives. As Tessa's journey to find out her destiny continues, the wall that surrounded William comes down, as he announces his love for Tessa. However, James Carstairs is struggling to continue the fight against his yin fen. Readers will be very delighted to find out of what ending to the trio's tales with Clockwork Princess.

A pleasant, fun adventure with lots of laughs, smiles, and a few almost-tears. All-in-all, a nice series conclusion, though without the backbone of The Mortal Instruments, I definitely would not have liked it much, and do not like it nearly as much in comparison. There wasn't as much story to tell, unfortunately, though the characters grew on me.

A absolutely wonderful series. I could not put them down. The connection with the characters from the "original" make this so much better. You get to find out some much about where it all started and how things impact the future with out you knowing

This book made my emotions go up and down. I really liked how Cassandra Clare built up the tension in this book and how she could write in a way that would make you feel like you were that character and you were going through those emotions. I kind of wish there was a bit more of a connection to the mortal Instruments series in the epilogue but other than that this book was amazing. I would recommend this book to people who like romance, violence and fantasy.

This ending was SO good and SO heartbreaking at the same time. I cried so many times I lost count, especially at the epilogue. In a way, Tessa ends up with both of them. It sounds confusing, but when you read it, it's like the perfect ending except when it fast forwards to the present time of the Mortal Instruments. There were a bit too many poetic lines and soul confessions for me, but I still loved it. I felt so sorry for both Jem and Will.

Spoiler alert!!

After his father becomes a demon, Gabriel Lightwood fled to the institute and seeks help. Will, Jem, Gideon, Gabriel, Henry, Cecily, and Tessa go over to the Lightwood's home and kill the demon.

The next day, Will discovers that Mortmain has bought all the yin fen, putting Jem's life at great risk.

Consul Wayland is against Charlotte Branwell. He blackmails the Lightwood brothers into spying on Charlotte. However, the Lightwood brothers decide not to betray Charlotte.

Mortmain's automatons attack the institute and successfully kidnap Tessa. Meanwhile, Jessamine's last words help the Shadowhunters realize that Mortmain's location is at a mountain near Will's home.

Jem overhears Magnus and Will talking. Jem finds out that Will is in love with Tessa, and tells him to go rescue her.

On his way to Wales, Will realizes his parabatai, Jem, has died.

Will finds Tessa, but gets trapped in the room with her. The next day, the others (members of the institute, and a few Silent Brothers) teleport to the mountain using the portal that Henry and Magnus created. They save Tessa and Will, and altogether, they fight the automatons. Not far into the battle, it is discovered that one of the Silent Brothers was Jem, and that, in fact, he did not die. While captured, Tessa uses her power and changes into the angel inside her necklace, and defeats Mortmain. After changing back to herself, she becomes unconscious, and does not recover until she talks to Jem.

Tessa and Will get engaged, they go to visit Will's parents, along with Cecily and Gabriel.

A net of shadows begins to tighten around the Shadowhunters of the London Institute. Mortmain plans to use his Infernal Devices, an army of pitiless automatons, to destroy the Shadowhunters. He needs only one last item to complete his plan: he needs Tessa Gray.

Charlotte Branwell, head of the London Institute, is desperate to find Mortmain before he strikes. But when Mortmain abducts Tessa, the boys who lay equal claim to her heart, Jem and Will, will do anything to save her. For though Tessa and Jem are now engaged, Will is as much in love with her as ever.

As those who love Tessa rally to rescue her from Mortmain’s clutches, Tessa realizes that the only person who can save her is herself. But can a single girl, even one who can command the power of angels, face down an entire army?

Danger and betrayal, secrets and enchantment, and the tangled threads of love and loss intertwine as the Shadowhunters are pushed to the very brink of destruction in the breathtaking conclusion to the Infernal Devices trilogy.

Sexual Content: There is one small part about half way through the book. I cannot specify because it would involve countless spoilers.
