I started to watch this yesterday -- I noticed it's only a one-week borrowing period, despite that it is 8 DVDs in the series, with at least 2 episodes per disc.
I think that it should be changed to a "TV season borrowing period" of 3 weeks to be able to watch the whole thing. It looks really interesting, I enjoyed the episode I watched, and intend to renew it so I can see it all!

Excellent series from BBC compiles two seasons of the documentary season that explores facets of not only the British coast, but their neighbours. In these documentaries, a group of British correspondants and experts bring us stories of history, geography, geology, biology, culture, architecture, engineering, and more. Some particularly effective sequences: crossing the Arctic Circle on a ferry and undergoing an odd ceremony, exploring the Isle of Man, crossing the Caledonian Canal, and sitting down with one of the British officers who landed on the beach of Normandy six months before D-Day on a reconnaissance mission. Very well worth seeing for anyone with an interest in this part of the world, and highly enjoyable.
