I concur. One would think, or would've thought 3 sndtks in tow, that Trent Reznor doing scores for David Fincher (i.e. Alien 3, Fight Club, Seven, etc.) would be a home run in nerd-dom lands...alas that is not the case. They could've hired ANYBODY to do this. Had someone played me these scores and asked if Trent Reznor did them I'd say no. Hell, even Daft Punk showed him up with their glorious score to the Tron sequel. Go figure...
To me, this music was boring and repetitive. It's kind of bleak and hypnotic all the way through, which fits the movie, but not something I want to listen to on its own. There are a few actual songs on there, but for the most part, it sounds all the same. Nothing like the score to the Social Network. Just not my thing, I guess.
