A sweet story of courage, brokenness and forgiveness. There are a lot of story lines in this book to follow, but it was a satisfying, quick read. Her next book in the series does not have the same flow or depth of character.

I enjoyed this story dispite the christian tone. It was so tied to the place and time that it worked as part of the story.
