Chronicles the courageous Liberian women who came together to end a bloody civil war and bring peace to their country. Thousands of women, ordinary mothers, grandmothers, aunts, and daughters, both Christian and Muslim, came together to pray for peace and then staged a silent protest outside of the Presidential Palace. Inspiring, uplifting, and most of all motivating, it is a compelling testimony of how grassroots activism can alter the history of nations.

I believe everyone in the world should be required to watch this documentary. You will look at the faces and hear the voices of those who are the real casualties of war: the people whose lives are destroyed by war. And you will see true heroism, true courage, true patriotism, which the "boys with guns" will never have.

5 of 5 stars. See how civil disobedience works. See how one woman, from one of the poorest countries in the world, earned her Nobel Peace Prize.
