This book is a fun, breezy read. While the characters aren't outrageously deep, they're really likable. The plot has a quick pace that's sure to keep readers interested. Charlie is a former thief who has turned towards the path of the straight and narrow to appease his editor (and love interest) Victoria, as he attempts to become a successful crime-novelist. At the beginning of each new novel, he relocates to another famous city. This is the fourth installment in a series which began with Amsterdam, Paris, and Las Vegas. Chris Ewan includes a great local flavor in his work which will be of interest to anyone who has visited these cities before.
