To NB! I am so sorry that you can only put people down all the time! it tells me sooooo much about you....would love to see you write even a fraction of what Laurell can write... let me know if and when you do.

This work was much more enjoyable than I expected, given that I have read some of headline author Laurell K. Hamilton's novels and found them pretty formulaic. The book is a series of fairytales, each striking and creative in a different way.

It's not easy to create an immersive world in a novella or a short story, but the authors have been very successful in doing so. The atmospheres created in The Wrong Bridegroom and The Tangleroot Forest reminded me somewhat of aura of The Night Circus. I look forward to reading more from each of the writers, including even Ms. Hamilton.

N.B.: Despite the cover, this is not a collection of erotica!

Reading this book got me started on Yasmine Galenorn's series of OtherWorld, which is quite good!
