** stars. A Temperance Brennan, forensic medical examiner mystery involving race cars and hate groups. Readable, but did not stand out in any way.

A great read. With so many Bones reruns on TV, one forgets how funny-- and even exciting-- the original books are. Added PERKS: You learn a LOT about NASCAR history and culture.
