Add a CommentCute short story but the climax seems rushed. The pet cat plays such a major role in the story , the title should have probably be something about cat too :)
Title 'Family Affair' doesn't make sense to me for this book.
A short book..but I loved it.
LOL Now I can read the other 5 of her books I checked out of the Library today.
A quick read at only 100 pages, but a good one at that! It was nice to get to know the characters in such a short book, and I would love to see a second story abotu Sarah and how she moves on. A nice, easy, laid-back read.
OK, Family Affair is a 136-page reprint from 1994. It is dated. & The Bet--148 pages of amateur writing & good exposure for contest winner. & about 50 pages of ads for Macomber bks pub. by Avon. What is wrong here? If I had paid for this bk I would have felt cheated.
The story was great and I loved all the characters especially jack! It was a quick read for me but like the first commends, I wish the book was longer :)
I agree with scorpio21! Cute story and I wish it was longer:). I love Jack!
A quick easy read about second chances. The only complaint I have is, The story wasn't long enough.
