Baker & Taylor
At seventeen, Rosalind Townsend finds herself pregnant and alone. Her father, deeply religious yet cruel, throws her out of the house. Nick Pemberton, her baby's father and the man she naively hoped to marry, rejects her. Yet even at the lowest point in her life, Rosalind vows to succeed on her own terms, and to give her son, Will, all the love and happiness she's been denied.

& Taylor

Nineteen years after giving birth to a son that she raised by herself, Lin Townsend crosses paths with her son's father, now a millionaire, and begins to plot her revenge.
Lin Townsend becomes pregnant at 17 and her baby's father shirks his responsibility, with all her letters to him sent back marked "Return to Sender," but she perseveres and raises the boy herself, until, 19 years later, she crosses paths with the father, now a millionaire, and soon plots her revenge. By the best-selling author of Mr. and Miss Anonymous. 150,000 first printing.

Not her best work but still a fun story. Not realistic but enough "mystery" to make me keep reading. Did not like the ending....too contrived.
As if the deadline was tomorrow and she had to finish it up.

The book had promise, but the fraud angle was unrealistic and for that reason, I stopped reading the book. If that was not part of the theme of the book, it would have been good.
