This book is too long--over 500 pages--and for no good reason. It was long-winded, confusing---too many characters jumping all over the place from childhood to adulthood to mental hospitals to farms. Very contrived and nothing at all representative to how a person with post-traumatic stress disorder would actually act or present. I was SO happy when I FINALLY finished it, but it was a totally unsatisfying read/ending.
Not my favourite book by Lisa Unger. The plot was confusing to follow, as the novel moves between different characters and between the past and present. Normally I don't mind that, but there was no separation between paragraphs to tell which part of the novel you were reading about.
