Sam Elliott has to be the best cowboy ever. His low gravelly growl of a voice always makes a show for me. He just comes across as a cowboy, or as in this show, a lawman who never gets flustered and can always handle the situation. Being this is a real story, he does an excellent job in portraying the character he's handed. Great story line, great story, great acting.

Among the best Sam Elliott westerns I've ever seen.
