I found this to be an entertaining crime thriller. I have enjoyed Rosenfelt's series with Andy Carpenter (and Tara!) so I wanted to see how his stand alone novels compare -- I wasn't disappointed at all. I like the fact that there is plenty of suspense without a lot of gore!

It was a very good book - action, etc. First of his books that I've read and would most likely read another by him.

A major disappointment, as it's not a bad story. As mentioned, when you think about it, there are a lot of holes in the plot, with far too many connected insiders. The denouement is really weak and not too plausible either.
Am sure we have enjoyed a few of the Andy Carpenter titles some time ago.

Kept me awake until 4:30am since I just couldn't put it down. Highly entertaining.

This book is very entertaining and fast-paced. If you don't think much about the plot, it's okay, but when you start taking a closer look you can easily find many instances where events don't make sense
