Very entertaining, and I like the characters, but it is not my favourite.

I would say this is definitely still pretty fun and interesting. My reading this time was super disjointed (there's a gap because it was a library book) but it was still super fun to read, still very engaging, and a quick read that sucks you right in. The world is really great and I really want to read more of it!

This book has to be one of my top favorites. I read this for the first time years ago and I've ended up rereading it over and over. It's a very timeless book that opens up to an amazing series with lots of humor and imagination. A lot of children authors have a hard time attaining this level of realistic parallel to mythology without sounding cliché or overexaggerated but Riordan did it perfectly. Would recommend, 11/10.

This is by far one of my favorite series. I know I am reading it as a 25 year old woman, but the story is so adventurous and unique. I just wish more authors would delve into Greek mythology to create an imaginative unique story. Rick Riordan has done just that. This is a series I can see myself reading to my upper grade school level children in the future.

I like the book Percy Jackson 1. It is creepy and fantasy like, even with creatures from the underworld. My favorite part was when Grover and his mother got attacked by a bull-man. You should get this book because it's a great mystery book and a thriller. - Lorenzo, age 11

I think the first book is boring but once you get to the second book you are litterly glued to the other books in the series.Once you read the first series (this is the first series) then read the second series,The Heros Of Olympus, and the third series The Trials Of Apollo. Then read the norse books (Magnus Chase). Then read the egypt books (The King Cronicles). And then you are set.

This book is filled with adventure, suspense, thriller, sadness, and some fear. There are many emotions included within this book. While reading, I laughed, cried, feared and got scary vibes. This was my first ever book I read in 13 years and loved it. And I am very sure, I will finish reading the whole series.

I was barefoot since I gave my shoes to Grover. Better that they wonder why one of us was barefoot than why one of us had hooves.
