Before reading this book, I had never heard of the author but, in being recommended to me by my priest, I decided to give it a go and I'm so glad that I did. Ms. Meyer's writing style is comforting and easy to follow and it was not long before I was noticing similarities in my own life. While she is a Charismatic Christian, her biblical references are both approriate and pertient to all Christians, regardless of your affiliation. Since completing this book, I've not only identified several others by her at my public library but also a television show that she does on Vision TV.

I didn't know the writer was christian, this book was recommended by a wellness coach to her group. I think if you're a christian this book can resonate with you but if you're not (I'm not) it comes across preachy and entirely too focused on external blame (satan of course) vs looking inward and owning your thoughts and managing yourself. For a non-christian who seeks real knowledge, this book was a bust.

This book is life changing! I highly recommend this for everyone. It goes through many different strongholds that keep you in bondage and gives great advice on how to renew your mind.
