The premise of the film was silly to the point of being farcical but it was still fun to watch. The dancing scenes of Hayworth and Astaire at 52:52 & 1:04:02 were wonderful.

This movie was pretty good. I liked how it began; seeing where the characters were in life and then how they met. Towards the middle though it seemed to get stale with the sisters always pestering Rita Hayworth's character and the Father angry at Fred Astaire's character. The end of the movie was pretty satisfying though and the music and dance numbers peppered through out were dazzling. My favorite was the song and dance in the garden!
