Gail Loring tries to forget her past by traveling to Hampton Harbor on Long Island but ends up reliving the past lives of a distant relative. It all starts with her fascination with an old house in town that she ends up renting, only to find herself travelling back in time to relive a famous crime! When you add a ghostly presence and a current beau for Gail you have the makings of a great gothic novel that is a wonderful escape from the sex and gore of more modern fiction.
