Calling all writers! Aldergrove Library welcomes you to submit your own:

• short stories;
• poetry;
• comics;
• creative non-fiction;
• fanfiction; and 
• other creative wordsmithing for a chance to win a $50 Indigo/Chapters gift card. 

All appropriate submissions will be published in a booklet that can be borrowed from the Aldergrove Library.

Contest rules:

• one submission per person
• 5000-word limit
• participants must be aged 11-18
• participants can choose to have their submissions published anonymously while still competing for the prize
• the last day for submissions is Monday, April 8, 2024

The prize is one gift card for Indigo/Chapters. The prize value is $50. The contest runs from March 4, 2024, to April 8, 2024. Open to residents of the Fraser Valley Regional Library service area, except FVRL Board members, management and employees of Fraser Valley Regional Library. Chances of winning depend on the number of entries received. Entries are limited to one submission per person. The winner will be selected by library staff by April 15, 2024. The winner will be notified by phone or email and can collect their prize at Aldergrove Library. The winner forfeits the unclaimed prize after one month. No purchase is necessary. You are providing your information to Fraser Valley Regional Library, which will only be used to contact the winners.
